Logo design for promotions and booking ‘Dirthouse agency’

The brief i received from lead singer of the band ‘Bleeding Gasoline’, Jason Finlay, as he was starting a new promotions agency. He was promoting mostly metal and hardcore acts so the logo design needed to have grit and blend into the heavy subculture but as well needed to display a sense of professionalism.

The solution to this was to find a font as well as iconography that would be bold and in a sense “Bad ass”, then for the word ‘agency’ a clean sans-serif Futura for a flourish of professionalism.
